

She has appeared as a chamber musician in the concert halls of Boston, Philadelphia, and the Florida Keys. Ovrutsky arrived in the United States in 1992 with her family, and has been teaching at Settlement since 2001. Ovrutsky was also a successful children’s choral instructor and served as a musical director and editor on the international programs of the Russian State Television and Radio. Ovrutsky has been teaching children of all ages for over 25 years, including her own children, who are now graduates of Curtis and Juilliard, acclaimed musicians, and winners of many international competitions. She began her musical journey at the age of five with piano study. Since 2013 he has also been the live sound mixer for the dueling piano band at the Philadelphia Howl at The Moon, and a production sound mixer for video with SQ Productions out of Cherry Hill, NJ.

Alan has played rock, jazz, free jazz, folk, funk, and original music in venues and restaurants from NYC to Nashville and has been a pit musician at Society Hill Playhouse.

He taught guitar, bass and ran ensembles at the Philadelphia and Cherry Hill schools of rock from 2009-2015. Outside of college Alan has studied classical guitar with John Penn. He has also had lessons with Jimmy Bruno, Pat Martino, and Tony Miceli while there. His teachers were Mike Kennedy, Matt Davis, and Mike Quaile. Specialties: Kaleidoscope, Kaleidoscope PlusĪlan Ens graduated from the University of the Arts in 2009 with a BM in Jazz guitar performance. Aiyana also prides herself on being a community activist and has worked as a mentor for young children in multiple settings.Įducation: Virginia Commonwealth University, BFA in Dance and Choreography She has performed on Windy City Live, ABC 7 Chicago, InLight Richmond arts festival and a multitude of other locations. She has worked as a teaching assistant/demonstrator for The Ailey Experience Program under the direction of Lisa Willingham, and also an interactive TedX Youth experience under the direction of Jill B. Aiyana is educated in Dance Anatomy, Studies of Music and Dance, Production, and Injury prevention. Aiyana is currently a member of the second company of PHILADANCO.

She received her BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2020. Charles L Carter and many other outstanding professionals in the field. She has trained under Lisa Willingham, Randy Duncan, Scoot Putman, Dr. Aiyana Martin is a proud native from Chicago.
